Overview
Each session is facilitated by highly motivated and energetic students and professionals, all of which are required to be CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. In addition, all staff are trained on current child-related topics and concerns. The safety of your child is our top priority. Your kids will have a blast with us at the Rec! Check out our next day camps below. Register at our Customer Service desk or Online.
Some fun things to expect from our camps; large and small group games that will teach our campers various new skills and activities, the importance of sportsmanship, and instill the concept of teamwork! Arts and crafts, swimming and a variety of special guests that will allow our campers the ability to try new things in a fun, safe and accepting environment!

2026 Summer Camp Enrollment
Enrollment for Summer Camp 2026 opens THURSDAY, JANUARY 1, 2026.
Time: 9AM-4PM
Fee: CSU Affiliate: $200/child per week | Community: $225/child per week

Affiliate pricing is limited to current CSU students, active CSU Rec Center members,
current CSU faculty/staff and current Campus International students
3-Day Week Option
Fee: $150/child
Ages 5-14
If enrolled in this option, you are limited to 3 days per week. Unused days cannot be moved to other weeks of enrollment. Enrollment in this option will be limited to 10 campers per week.

We also offer before & after care services for each day camp! Make sure to add them to your cart when registering!
Before Care: 7:30AM-9AM; $40/child
After Care: 4:00PM-5:30PM; $40/child
Before Care and After Care options remain the same for those enrolled in the full week and the 3-day week.
Before Care with Swim Lessons!
Time: 7:30AM-9AM; $62/child
Swim lessons will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8AM-8:45AM. Campers will be allowed access to before care from 7:30AM-9AM on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays

CSU Rec Summer Camp 2026 Weekly Themes
Week 1: June 1st – June 5th Welcome Bash!
Our Welcome Bash Week sets the tone for a fantastic summer ahead. Campers will get to know each other, discover our camp spaces, and try a mix of sports, arts, swimming and more! It’s the perfect celebration to start the season with energy, color, and big smiles.
Week 2: June 8th – June 12th Carnival Week
Step right up for Carnival Week at CSU Summer Camp! Campers will enjoy a variety of games, crafts, and carnival-inspired activities all week long. We’ll cap it off with a big end-of-week carnival full of prizes, music, and fun for everyone.
Week 3: June 15th – June 18th Fun and Fitness
It’s time to get active during Fun and Fitness Week at CSU Summer Camp! Campers will enjoy a mix of sports, movement games, and exciting physical challenges designed for all skill levels. It’s a high-energy week packed with smiles, teamwork, and healthy summer fun.
Week 4: June 22nd – June 26th Outdoor Adventure Week
Adventure awaits during Outdoor Adventure Week at CSU Summer Camp! Campers will spend the week exploring nature, playing outdoor games, and completing fun challenges outside. It’s a fresh-air-filled week of discovery and excitement.
Week 5: June 29th – July 3rd Water Week
Make a splash during Water Week at CSU Summer Camp! Campers will beat the heat with water games, relay races, and tons of cool, refreshing fun all week long. This week encourages teamwork, laughter, and plenty of soaking-good moments in the sun.
Week 6: July 6th – July 10th Time Traveler’s Week
Join us for Time Traveler’s Week at CSU Summer Camp, where every day is a trip to a different moment in history! Campers will explore exciting eras through hands-on activities, themed games, and creative projects that turn learning into adventure. Whether we’re building ancient artifacts, decoding futuristic missions, or stepping into past worlds, this week sparks curiosity and creativity.
Week 7: July 13th – July 17th Science Week
Dive into discovery during Science Week at CSU Summer Camp! Campers will enjoy hands-on experiments, STEM challenges, and exciting activities that bring science to life in fun and surprising ways.
Week 8: July 20th – July 24th Superhero Week
Suit up for adventure during Superhero Week at CSU Summer Camp! Campers will discover their own superhero identities through creative activities, team missions, and power-packed challenges that build confidence and teamwork. From designing capes and emblems to completing heroic obstacle courses, every day brings a new opportunity to unleash their inner hero. It’s a week full of imagination, courage, and super-powered fun!
Week 9: July 27th – July 31st Detective Week
Put your thinking caps on for Detective Week at CSU Summer Camp! Campers will step into the world of mystery as they solve clues, crack codes, complete scavenger hunts, and work together to uncover hidden surprises. Each day brings a new case to investigate, encouraging problem-solving, teamwork, and curiosity. It’s a thrilling week full of puzzles, discoveries, and detective fun!
Week 10: August 3rd – August 7th End of Summer Extravaganza
Celebrate an amazing season during End of Summer Extravaganza Week at CSU Summer Camp! Campers will revisit their favorite games, enjoy creative activities, and take part in special themed events—including a cozy PJ movie day and a full day dedicated to the games they loved most all summer long. It’s a week filled with laughter, friendships, and one final burst of summer fun.
How to Register
HEADS-UP! Registration for each week closes the WEDNESDAY before that week begins.
Registration and a deposit or payment in full are required for each individual week to secure your child’s spot. You do not need to commit to the entire 10-week summer camp program; pick and choose the weeks that work for you! We recommend registering online below. Visit the online portal to login or create an account. If you need help creating an account for the first time, find our step-by-step guide in the “Additional Information” section!
After registering, find our 2026 Enrollment Form below under the “Additional Information” section. Download the form, fill it out for each child, and email it to Mackenzie Lamar at m.lamar@csuohio.edu. We need a form on file for each child before the start of camp.
Also, we recommend reading over our Parent Handbook below as it covers all policies, day-to-day instructions and details, refund options, etc., for our camp programs!
REFUND POLICY: Full refunds will be given upon request up until May 1, 2026.
After May 1, 2026, all camp fees are refundable up to a week before each session with the exception of a 30% deposit, which is non-refundable.
No refunds will be granted less than a week before a camp session begins.
