The Initiatives of Shine Well
On October 7th, 2022, Cleveland State University’s eighth President, Dr. Laura Bloomberg announced her new initiative for the University: Living Well Together, On Our Campus, In Our City. Within Dr. Bloomberg’s investiture, she announced the inclusion of our Shine Well program as part of her wellness initiative on campus:
“We will advance our essential work with an ignited passion for the wellbeing of the people and the communities we serve. When our relentless pursuit of learning and the creation of new knowledge is angled toward our collective wellbeing on our campus, in our beautiful city full of strong partners and allies, and surrounded by remarkable economic, civic and natural resources.
We draw ever closer to achieving emotional, physical, environmental, social, and spiritual wellbeing for all of us.”

Cleveland Charge Tickets
Partnering with the Wolstein Center and the Cleveland Charge, CSU students can get FREE tickets to Cleveland Charge games by following the instructions below:
- Visit exclusive Seat Geek webpage (the CSUSTUDENTS code is automatically applied)
- Select date/game
- Select desired tickets (limit 4 per transaction)
- Click “Go to checkout”
- Log-in to your Seat Geek account or create an account by entering your email address and mobile number
- Follow prompts to confirm and pay (ticket total will show $0.00)
- Place order (tickets will be in your Seat Geek account

Lake view Cemetery Tour
We are offering 54 spots for the Lake View Cemetery Tour on Wednesday, April 12 at 4:30pm – 6:30pm. The tour will last 2 hours and will be a combination of a bus tour and a walking tour. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the James A. Garfield Memorial and the Wade Memorial Chapel including additional points of interest such as the Euclid Gates, June-Louise Memorial Walkway, Daffodil Hill, the Community Mausoleum and more! Participants will receive transportation to and from the tour from the Recreation Center. To reserve your spot, complete the following steps:

Cleveland International Film Festival is kicking off their 47th season on March 22nd with some great films that you won’t want to miss! We have 20 tickets available for 2 different films – grab them while you can!

The City is Our Campus is offering 30 tickets to the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Indiana Pacers game on April 2nd for students. Exciting action on the court, some of the best athletes and players in the world, and a lively crowd: these are the things you can count on when the Cavaliers and Pacers face off. It’s always a great time at the arena during Cavaliers vs. Pacers games.
