The Initiatives of Shine Well

On October 7th, 2022, Cleveland State University’s eighth President, Dr. Laura Bloomberg announced her new initiative for the University: Living Well Together, On Our Campus, In Our City. Within Dr. Bloomberg’s investiture, she announced the inclusion of our Shine Well program as part of her wellness initiative on campus:

“We will advance our essential work with an ignited passion for the wellbeing of the people and the communities we serve. When our relentless pursuit of learning and the creation of new knowledge is angled toward our collective wellbeing on our campus, in our beautiful city full of strong partners and allies, and surrounded by remarkable economic, civic and natural resources.

We draw ever closer to achieving emotional, physical, environmental, social, and spiritual wellbeing for all of us.”

Cleveland Guardians vs boston red sox – sold out!!

Join The City is Our Campus for our final event of the year! We will be attending the Sunday, April 27th Cleveland Guardians versus Boston Red Sox game. Game time is at 1:40 pm. You must be a CSU student to sign up for a ticket. Tickets are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Transportation will not be provided to the ballpark. Let’s cheer on the Guardians together! See you at the game!

Register for this event by logging into the CSU Rec Member Connect app or our online portal. Make sure to use your CSU email address that has your first initial and last name. Select “Programs,” select “The City is Our Campus” in the category drop down, and then click “Show programs.” Select “Guardians vs Red Sox” and then register! Horticulture Tours

Want to see what types of plants we have on campus? Want to get your steps in? Want to go on a guided tour of campus with some friends or classmates? Join Tour lead, Tropical Tim for a Horticulture Tour around campus. During this walk, you will learn about different types of plants on campus led by the person who knows them best, Tim! Horticulture Tours will be scheduled based on request. Please keep in mind that these must take place before 1:00 pm if you would like to schedule a tour. Do you have a favorite part of campus?
