Overview

Looking for a way to keep your kids engaged and active on the holidays when they’re off from school but you still have to work? Look no further! Our staff works hard to teach and mentor kids as they go through the various program features to provide the best experience they can.

Day Camps

CSU Rec is continuing our Day Camps program again this year! These full-day camps are the fun and interactive solution to keep your kids engaged in exciting sports, games and activities while you’re at work. Safe and tons of fun – your kids will love it!

Summer Camps

Our Summer Camp program offers 10 consecutive weeks of diverse, theme-based programming. Activities are designed to incorporate active games, creative crafts, and much more! Last year spots filled up quickly – don’t miss out! Sign up today with a weekly deposit. The deadline to register for all programs is the Wednesday prior to each week of camp. Camp is from 9am-4pm.

Leaders in Training

The Leaders in Training program is for ages 13-14. (Children of age 12 may be admitted following a written evaluation.) LITs are challenged and engaged more with planning their weekly activities and assisting counselors. They will also lead campers in weekly activities. LITs will also receive skills instruction that are listed in the weekly themes. Each participant must maintain a certain behavior standard to continue in the program. Individuals with poor behavior will be moved to a younger age group or removed from the program with no refund.

Camp Staff and Safety

Each session is facilitated by highly motivated and energetic students and professionals. All counselors and program leaders are required to have current First Aid/CPR/AED certifications. In addition, all staff are trained on current child-related topics and concerns. The safety of your child is our top priority. Our camper-to-staff ratio is 8:1 for all age groups. Staff members will have a first aid kit and two-way radio at all times so they are in constant contact with program leaders, camp directors, and facility supervisors in case of an emergency.
